The Gatsby Pillar

One of my all time fabourites The Gatsby Pillar, with it vertical lines it reminds me of  Art Deco and The Great Gasby.

This Gatsby Pillar is made to burn for extended amounts of time.   The first time you burn a pillar candle, burn the candle until the waxpool reaches the sides of the candle creating a thin wall, this could take up to four hours, so give yourself time.   By giving our candle time to create a memory, this will help your candle last longer and not not tunnel.

Beckah Candles are all made from 100% locally sourced Beeswax.  Beeswax has a subtle honey aroma and when burned the flame has the same spectrum as the sun.    Beeswax can range in colour from darker to lighter golden yellow hues, depending on what the bees were pollinating at the time. 

With all our handmade candles, there can be slight variances with colour, moulds, nicks and marks

100% Beeswax Candles will also develop bloom (a white film) over time which gives the candle a rustic look, this can be wiped off with a damp cloth or popped in the sunshine for a few hours.  Bloom does not affect the burn of the candle in any way.

Beeswax candles are all natural and chemical free.
