Heirloom Tomato Large

Heirlooms are storytellers and what better way to tell a story than by candle light.

New to our growing Farmers Market range is the Heirloom Tomato in three different sizes and colours to choose from.

With every candle there is always a story and Tomatoes are no different.   My Grandfather  (Otaki Grandad) grew Tomatoes in huge big glass houses when I was young, they were his pride and joy.   Back then I probably didn't appreciate the greatness of his beautiful Glass houses, as much as I would have now, but forever etched in my memory is my grandfather's tomatoes.

These beautiful Heirloom Tomatoes are created from using a real tomato from my sister in law's garden,  making my own silicone moulds has become a great way to make individual and original moulds.

Large Beeswax Candle

Beckah Candles are all made from 100% locally sourced Beeswax.  Beeswax has a subtle honey aroma and when burned the flame has the same spectrum as the sun.    Beeswax can range in colour from darker to lighter golden yellow hues, it all depends on what the bees were pollinating at the time. 

With all our handmade candles, there can be slight variances with colour, moulds, nicks and marks

100% Beeswax Candles will also develop bloom (a white film) over time which gives the candle a rustic look, this can be wiped off with a damp cloth and does not affect the candle in any way.

Beeswax candles give off the subtle aroma of honey and are all natural and chemical free.
