Autumn Beeswax Berry Candle Box

Core childhood memory for many, picking blackberries straight off the bush when you were walking to the beach or the river in the late summer, the track winding its way through rocky outcrops that you had to watch your feet so you didn't step on thorns.  Scratched legs from leaning over the berry bush to get the biggest, fattest berry that was always at the back.   Ice Cream container in hand to collect as many as you could to make into a blackberry pie to eat later. You don't want summer to end.

I love the seasons, I think it's the best part of living in Hawkes Bay, because they are very pronounced, hot summers, cold winters, spring is fresh and new and Autumn is vibrant and rich with all my favourite colours.

My new Autumn Berry box is inspired by collecting and eating Blackberries in late summer, it's also inspired by the Brambly Hedge Books that I love for their cozy drawings.

The berry box contains 9 beautiful berry candles, these candle moulds are also handmade by me from real Blackberries.   Consists of three colours, raspberry red, light purple and a dark blackberry purple.  

Sizes, 2cm is the smallest berry and 3cm is the largest berry.  You will receive a mixture of both sizes, picked at random.

Ideal for Birthdays or anytime you want to light a candle and create something delightful.

Beckah Candles are all made from 100% locally sourced Beeswax.  Beeswax has a subtle honey aroma and when burned the flame has the same spectrum as the sun.    Beeswax can range in colour from darker to lighter golden yellow hues, it all depends on what the bees were pollinating at the time. 

With all our handmade candles, there can be slight variances with colour, moulds, nicks and marks

100% Beeswax Candles will also develop bloom (a white film) over time which gives the candle a rustic look, this can be wiped off with a damp cloth and does not affect the candle in any way.

Beeswax candles give off the subtle aroma of honey and are all natural and chemical free.
